HE Ruben James Tullen Kun (b. March 30, 1942) is a political figure from the Pacific nation of Nauru and was President of the Republic of Nauru.

Ruben Kun is a lawyer by training.
He has been Speaker of the Nauruan Parliament.[1]
Kun served as finance minister, prior to assuming Presidential office.
Kun succeeded Kennan Adeang as President of Nauru from December 19, 1996 to February 13, 1997, and was himself succeeded in that office by Kinza Clodumar.
Under the Pacific Solution asylum policy, Australia has an arrangement with Nauru that allows asylum seekers arriving in Australia to be detained on the island. Kun is now representing detainees in a case before the nation's Supreme Court.
